Christmas candlelight service in the morning. Vilvian and Guijie came along, and it was rather interesting as i usually will not switch on my phone after i reached home but however the night before, at 1215 midnight i suddently had the erge to switch on my phone! And i saw vilvian's message of wanting to come. Guess if i didn't open that message, she might not be able to come today! It's so amazing, haha.
Both of them enjoyed themself at the service today and i enjoyed myself too! Thanks guys(:
Left expo at about 0245 after bringing them to the carnival and supposedly i'm suppose to meet the girls at Bugis for movie. However i wasn't able to make it because of who? My mom again. She promised and she broke it, well nothing i can do. Really sorry for making you'll wait for me so long and not turn up, sorry.
Went to meet mom and brother at Bedok and we had lunch at a Teochew reastaurant near my house. Tracy said that the fish there was expensive, and indeed it was, $36 for 1kg! Their proportion shrink after since the renovation, just the three of us and we had to order medium size for all the dishes. Mom say they follow the Hongkong style: Small serving, big price. HAHA. We ordered about 5 dishes and the best of it would be the Sambal kangkong and the oat prawn. It's still as nice as before(: It was a great Christmas lunch but it defenitely cost a bomb as we ordered all medium serving and large serving for oat prawns.$ 126 altogether i guess, can feel the heart pain when mom sign the credit card bill. Well, it's Christmas! That must be the action of generosity.
Headed for Orchard road after lunch and it was raining cats and dogs when we reached. We walked along the shopping centres from Taka all the way to Plaza Singapura. That's surely a long walk, espectially having to squeeze with the people at the sheltered linkway (it was raining), my leg just felt like jelly when we arrived there. It's only few hours after the heavy lunch and mom said she wants to have her dinner already. Wanted to have dinner at Ajisen but it was fulled so we settled at long john silver instead as brother wanted to win a PSP through the scatch card. Got 3 cards, but all it was nothing but "Thank you".
We then continued to do some window-shopping when " DAISO" caught my eye. That's the shop connie's has been talking about and i finnally found it. The other time i went to Plaza sin i wasn't able to track it. Went to buy some files , pens and some hair assesories which altogether only cost $8. Everything they sell there only cost $2 and majority of the things sold there seemed to cost more than $2. Buisness strategy: Sell more, earn less.
Then we walked back to Taka again to join the countdown while enjoying the lightings at the same time. I wore my christmas hat i got from JP and i felt so proud about it. ( mom and bro doesn't have) HAHA(: Then on the way i saw some of our church people making balloons so i requested a flower ballon from them and again parrading my christmas hat and my flower down the orchard road. The atmosphere was great, people were spraying the soap onto each other and there were times when i got it too, but still is safer to come with parent because once they see my mother, they won't dare to spray it at me! haha.
Joined the carroling and after which it was the countdown. Everyone just got so high and many lifted up their hands when the carol people sang ' silent night' . It was my first time seeing so many people worshiping in a public place anyway that's the real meaning of Christmas right? It's not just about the presents, logcakes etc but it's all about Him. Went home about 1230 after the countdown.
