A day at CGH
I had a severe chest pain during the night so as soon as my family clinic was open in the morning , i went to see the doctor. However the doctor could not do detect anything due to the limited facilities there therefore he referred me to A&E for detailed checkup after giving me an injection to ease the pain.
My mom and i reached CGH at about noon, and i was asked to see a cardiology thinking that chest pain must be linked with heart problems. So i took a blood test, CRT and x-ray. All the reports were normal but the pain still didn't go away so i was put into the observation ward for a few hours.
The room beside the observation ward was the waiting room where inside there were few criminals waiting. They were all hand and leg cuffed . Can you imagine you're sick and you still have to wear the white coat and your leg and hand cuffed? Especially the one who were pregnant, i could not imagine how she is going to survive in jail with a big tummy.
Because mine was the observation ward so there were a mix of male and females. there was this army soldier running a high fever, if i never hear wrongly it was as high as 40.3 degree! His father was shouting in the room saying that he wants to sue his Sergent as his son already reported to his commander this morning that he's running a fever but the commander still forced him to go into the forest, in the end after the mission he's fever rise drastically.His whole face were red can, and tears just keep rolling down his eyes . Think could be dengue fever since dengue is on the rise lately.
At about evening, i was brought from the ward to do another CRT, and when the report came out normal again, i was allowed to go home and the doctor deduce that it could be muscle cramp.Anyway at such a young age it's almost impossible to get heart attack lah, HAHA. The doctor gave me 3 days mc and i collected my medicine and went home.
It's not a fun thing to spent nearly 8 hours in the hospital, especially when i was in the observation ward, with all the elderlies around me, and all of them have the " don't know what to do " look, and most of them had no relative accompanying them, it's rather saddening can? Think in the whole ward, i looked the most well, HAHA. Anyway, mom said it's quite worth it to come A&E at times as they only have one standard charge of $85.00, no matter how many tests and x-rays you take, one price and you can do all you want.( sound like buffet((:) But to think i actually spent $85.00 on muscle cramp it's duber funny can?
